6/3/17 – It was a busy Saturday for the Lakers in Grand Rapids. Emily Stringer ran the 400m dash in 1:01.16 (a new personal record), securing her a spot on the medal stand. She then hopped back on the track two events later to run in the 800m.  Lizzie Stolte capped off her track career as a Laker by running her fastest 200m dash ever, but fell short of a spot on the medal podium by 0.09 seconds. Congratulations to the entire Track team on a hard-fought season, and Lizzie & Emily in particular for representing Lake Michigan Catholic so well at the State Championship.
