Boy/Girl Scouts
Lake Michigan Catholic has an established and active scouting program.  From Daisies and Tigers to Junior Girl Scouts and Webelos II we include all age groups.  The Scouts provide community service and offer leadership opportunities for their participants.  The Boy Scout Pinewood Derby is held here each year and is a premier community event.

Citadel Dance & Music Center
The Citadel Dance & Music Center is partnering with Lake Michigan Catholic Schools to offer 4th – 9th graders cello, violin or viola lessons after school.  Lake Michigan Catholic will provide transportation to the Citadel twice weekly for this program.

Each year students in the Elementary School have an opportunity to participate in a school-wide drama production.  Elementary students are involved in every aspect of the production, aided by middle and high school drama students. For additional information contact Mrs. Wendy Golob at 269-930-2371.

Girls on the Run
Girls on the Run is a nationally acclaimed girls-only self-esteem building program.  Our local United Way sponsors this program for girls in our county grades 3-5.  The program consists of 26 lessons that incorporate physical activity and self-image building, and culminates in a county-wide 5K run.

We have established a trekking club under the supervision of Mrs. Nina Binger who teaches fourth grade here at LMCES.  In the fall and spring a group of third, fourth and fifth graders trek in Knauff Park, which is located directly behind the school, every Monday weather permitting.

Young Rembrandts
For our youngest artists we offer an after school art program through Young Rembrandts.  A local artist comes in for an eight-week program.  They study and create art using varied techniques and media.
