Laker Homecoming 2017

Laker Students: we will be posting your Homecoming activities for this week as they are developed by your classmates, check back soon.

Class of 1970 & 1971, please RSVP by email to if you are coming to the game. Lake Michigan Catholic will honor the very FIRST LAKER football team of the 1969-1970 season at the 2017 Homecoming Game in a pre-game ceremony. We would love any facts you have about your team, LMC during your time here, and any updates on alumni.

History of LMC Lakers and the FIRST TEAM:
As you know, LMC is the formation of our two founding schools, St. Joseph of St. Joseph, Michigan and St. Johns of Benton Harbor. The first game students played as Lake Michigan Catholic Football was on September 15, 1969. The Lakers pulled out a 12-6 come from behind victory against perennial Red Arrow powerhouse, Watervliet. The initial victory was the start of a long and proud football tradition at Lake Michigan Catholic High School.

The 2017 Laker Team was pleased to become acquainted with the 1969 LMC Quarterback Jeff Neumann when he addressed Laker team #48 during their preseason camp this past August.
